Damen and Lake is getting a new ‘L’ stop.

Those seeking access to the Illinois Medical District, United Center, and the Near West Side are about to get a big break: the city will be building an elevated Green Line stop at Damen Avenue and Lake Street.

Expected to be completed in 2021, the area has not had CTA train line access since 1948. Commuters delight!
