The Five Biggest and Best Milkshakes in Chicago

You know you want to.

The weather is slowly getting warmer, and that means it’s time to indulge in some fun (and gigantic) milkshakes with your friends!

Public House Chicago
Public House is smart– they bring a new milkshake out for holidays or seasons, making people flood their dining room, looking to try one for themselves. While they normally have one or two that stays on the menu, you can always expect a yummy cake slice.

JoJo’s MilkBar
Newly opened JoJo’s has some delicious milkshakes! Whether you order the Rocky IV (chocolate and peanut butter) or the Girl Scout (thin mints, yes please!) you will definitely be full from their shakes alone.

Pick Me Up Cafe
One of the best late night spots in Wrigleyville, Pick Me Up feels a bit out of place near the sports bars and restaurants, which is a good thing! You’ll find delicious food with veggie options, a monthly alcohol-filled milkshake in addition to the other milkshakes on their menu. In a gigantic mug. Yum!

25 Degrees
You can add alcohol to the milkshakes at 25 Degrees, or enjoy them without! These creative shakes include the Night Owl with Godiva dark chocolate liqueur or the Salty Caramel with Maker’s Mark.

BomboBar
You’ve definitely heard of BomboBar for their insanely yummy donut options (with squeezable jelly). Have you tried their “cooler chocolate”? They’re topped with a little donut and a few other sugary treats, and will definitely make your mouth water.
