About Last Knife (ALK) is described as “where steakhouse meets gastropub” in capitalized, bolded letters on their website. The best tagline, for sure.

The simple and perfect menu at ALK is enough to make you daydream. “Why You’re Here” features their selection of delectable steaks, “Ben’s Picks” give you the chef’s recommendations, and vegetarians or veggie lovers can check out the “No Meat (ALMOST)” section. There’s more to this menu story, but you get the gist of it– everything here sounds good.

ALK’s atmosphere is trendy meets classic. A fantastic brick wall serves as a backdrop to an intimate lounge area, and we can’t help but feel this restaurant is right out of a TV show where young professionals grab a glass of wine with this steak after work.

Now, on to the food. We heavily recommend the french onion soup and beef wellington, but you should probably try everything on the menu. Enjoy.
