Celeb Sells: Vince Vaughn

Everyone’s favorite Midwest-bred funny man is out to sell his Chicago penthouse…again. Check out details, pictures and prices.

Vince Vaughn expressed an underdog’s all-conquering spirit in Dodgeball but can’t seem to shake his own real estate baggage. Just as he roots for Chicago’s finest sports teams, so must we support his next attempt at selling the three-story Art Deco plot (159 E Walton Pl).

Vaughn first tried offering his floors of the Palmolive Building back in 2011 at nearly double the current asking price. This time, he’s splitting the 12,000-square-foot Michigan Avenue area in two units.

You can buy the 35th floor (three bedrooms, 3,700 square feet) for $4.2 million or the 36th and 37th floor for $8.5 million (7,900-square-foot space).

$12.7 million will get you both Gold Coast units, which is just over what Vaughn originally shelled out for the triplex ten years ago. Live like a celebrity without heading West in this palatial, ex-celebrity “home”. Vaughn may just take you out to a Cubs game.
