about Jake
As a licensed real estate broker with hands-on experience in renovation, property operations, and investment, I bring a perspective that goes far beyond the transaction. I purchased, renovated (largely with my own two hands) and sold my first condo, then reinvested the profits into the home I now live in and continue to improve. That journey gives me a practical, real-world understanding of what it truly means to buy, improve, and build equity in a home.
In addition to my work as a broker, I’ve built my career on the operational side of condominium buildings, working closely with community managers, boards, and service teams on everything from capital repairs and infrastructure issues to day-to-day building maintenance. I regularly scope projects involving electrical systems, plumbing, life-safety components, common-area improvements, and in-unit repairs. That experience gives me a deep understanding of how Chicago condos actually function behind the scenes; And what buyers should be paying attention to before they purchase.
This background is especially valuable for condo buyers. I know how to read between the lines of board minutes, recognize red flags in inspection reports, and help clients understand what assessments, reserves, and building conditions really mean for their long-term investment.
I’m especially passionate about working with first-time homebuyers. Buying your first home can feel overwhelming, and I take pride in guiding clients through the process with clarity, patience, and confidence—making sure no question goes unanswered and no detail is overlooked.
My work is grounded in three core values: Integrity, Education, and Authenticity. I believe in doing what’s right, not what’s easiest. I believe informed clients make the best decisions, and I’m committed to teaching—not just selling—throughout the process. And above all, I believe in being real with people, setting honest expectations, and building relationships that last well beyond closing day.
Whether you’re buying your first condo, planning future renovations, or looking to make a smart investment in Chicago real estate, my goal is simple: to be a trusted advisor who helps you move forward with confidence, armed with both market knowledge and real-world building expertise.
